The Littlefield Society is the premier campus-wide donor recognition society at The University of Texas at Austin. How to Become a Littlefield Society MemberMembership in this prestigious society is reserved for the University’s most generous benefactors. Once you have given a cumulative total of $25,000 to UT Austin, you will be recognized with lifetime membership. All of your UT Austin gifts (and any matching gifts from your employer) count toward that total, regardless of when you made the gifts or what college, school, or program benefited from your generosity. Your contributions through UT’s Annual Giving Programs count, as do charitable gifts to UT Athletics and the Texas Exes. You may also qualify for membership by making a pledge of at least $25,000 to be fulfilled within five years, or by creating a planned gift of at least $50,000 to benefit UT Austin in the future. A broad range of planned-giving options is available, including bequests, living trust provisions, and beneficiary designations of insurance and retirement plan assets. Visit our Gift Planning website to learn more. Finally, your Littlefield Society membership complements other recognition societies to which you may belong, including the President’s Associates and Texas Leadership Society at the University, or the Chancellor’s Council, which is administered by the UT System. There are no dues to pay for your Littlefield Society membership. Benefits of MembershipThe Littlefield Society offers a broad range of ways to help you stay connected to the University. You are the invited guest of the president at selected events and programs throughout the year, including regional receptions in various cities in Texas and across the country. Access UT, an exclusive benefit for Littlefield Society members, offers invitations to campus activities as well as discounts on University merchandise and some ticketed events. You also receive regular updates about important UT initiatives through the President’s Newsletter and other communications to keep you on top of the latest news. |
