The team is led by Laura Hansen Dean. She brings more than 25 years experience in helping people make significant charitable gifts as part of financial and estate planning. She has led gift-planning teams at public universities, community foundations, and academic centers on philanthropy. She has served on the boards of directors of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, local planned giving councils, and estate planning councils. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ball State University and a law degree from Indiana University School of Law. |

Prior to joining UT’s Gift Planning staff in 1997, Jeff Glosser was an officer with American Trust Company, based in New England. He is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and its central Texas chapter, as well as the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in business from Bucknell University, earned an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and received a trust certificate from the New England School of Banking at Williams College. |

April Hampton Perez is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and its central Texas chapter, as well as the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas. Before joining UT in November 2007 she was senior director of development at Southwestern University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southwestern University and a master’s in social work from the University of Houston. |

Prior to joining the Gift Planning staff in May 2009, Marcia Inger served as chief development officer for the Texas Advanced Computing Center at UT Austin, as an assistant director of development at the University of Virginia, and as an associate with the law firm of Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in art history and her law degree from the University of Virginia. |

Pamela Gooby joined the Gift Planning team in October 2007. Before that she was with The University of Texas System managing gifts from estates and trusts on behalf of the 15 institutions of the UT System. She is a member of the National Committee on Planned Giving. She earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Baylor University and a bachelor of fine arts degree from Texas A&M University. |

Janeka Rector joined the Gift Planning Team in June 2008. Before that she was a development coordinator at Reinhardt College, a private college in Georgia north of Atlanta. She is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the National Committee on Planned Giving organizations. She earned a bachelor’s in radio-television-film production from UT Austin. |

Audra Pineda Strubbe joined the Gift Planning team in January 2009. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, she earned a bachelor’s degree in archaeology and anthropology. She recently worked for Capitol Technology Affairs, a government-relations firm. Prior to that she was senior editor for Prewitt and Associates, an archaeology consulting firm. |
