Eric S., McCombs School of Business, BHP ProgramI’m a native Texan and have been a die-hard Longhorn sports fan since I was a kid. My brother earned his engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and when it came time for me to pick a school, UT Austin was a definite front-runner. I also applied to University of Pennsylvania, but UT already felt like home to me. I’ve loved every minute of the past four years, and the support of alumni and friends like you helped make my experience as a BHP student in the McCombs School of Business one I’ll never forget.

The financial support I’ve received from the McCombs School has been a huge help for my family — it made it possible for me to come to UT. I’m grateful I haven’t had the stress of juggling work and my studies. I’ve been able to take advantage of all the opportunities the BHP program has to offer. I served on the executive board of the Undergraduate Business Council and was a student recruiter. It was a great feeling to share stories with high school students about how amazing the BHP program is in an effort to recruit the talent the program deserves.

Your support can help the BHP Program grow stronger and fund priorities such as:

  • Recruiting and retaining top-notch students and research faculty.
  • Researching global issues such as energy efficiency and sustainability, economic reform, and the evolving role of business in society.
  • Increasing the number of influential scholars to visit and lecture at McCombs and provide more opportunities for high-profile annual conferences to be held in our facilities.

Support from alumni and friends gives students a sense of belonging and confidence that they can succeed. It says, “Someone who came before me wants to give me an opportunity.” Make your gift online today and help give future BHP students the well-rounded experience they need to be tomorrow’s business leaders.
