Texas Performing Arts

Performing Arts Center
Texas Performing Arts has brought the world’s best performing arts to Central Texas since 1981. Already one of the five top performing arts centers in the United States, Texas Performing Arts is setting the bar even higher.

The University is seeking $30 million in philanthropic support to make Texas Performing Arts the premier university performing arts center in the country. These funds will support the Endowment for Performing Excellence and will enable major renovations of Texas Performing Arts’ oldest and most beloved performance space, Hogg Memorial Auditorium. Already, these funds have helped complete a major renovation of Texas Performing Arts’ flagship venue, the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Concert Hall.

This increased support and renovation of facilities will enable Texas Performing Arts to expand its commitment to education and artistic excellence by providing an incubator for new works, a professional setting for training students, and world-class performing arts presentations to local, regional, and national audiences.
