Meet Longhorn Loyal Margaret Berno, BBA ’19
“As a young alumna, I support UT because I want to ensure future Longhorns have the same opportunities and enrichment that made my four years on campus so transformative. The Canfield Business Honors Program (CBHP) played a particularly impactful role during my time at UT. It introduced me to inspiring classmates, a challenging curriculum, supportive professors, first-rate opportunities and lifelong mentors.”
The University of Texas at Austin’s Longhorn Loyal program recognizes donors who give to support the university year after year.
One of those proud Longhorns is Margaret Berno, who shares, “As a young alumna, I support UT because I want to ensure future Longhorns have the same opportunities and enrichment that made my four years on campus so transformative. The Canfield Business Honors Program (CBHP) played a particularly impactful role during my time at UT. It introduced me to inspiring classmates, a challenging curriculum, supportive professors, first-rate opportunities and lifelong mentors.”
“I was also fortunate enough to receive a four-year scholarship through CBHP that allowed me to attend UT virtually tuition free, relieving myself and my family of the financial burdens normally associated with a college education. The scholarship unlocked incredible opportunities for me on campus and enabled me to focus 100% of my energy on learning and exploring all that UT has to offer. A large driver behind my giving is the desire to pay this forward to future generations of Longhorns.”
Longhorn Loyals like Margaret are a valuable part of our family of supporters.
